Nudedragons (Soundgarden) : Shoebox, Seattle 04/16/10

FAR BEYOND THE ROAD

BETWEEN YOUR HOUSE AND HOME

THERE IS A CHURNING STORM

OF HAILING , BURNING BONES

 ON THIS DAY,

April 16th, 2010,

SOUNDGARDEN

played their first show

in thirteen years

at the

Showbox in Seattle,

making their reunion

a reality for their

millions of fans

around the world.

The band had announced it

would reform to play

Lollapalooza 2010

in Chicago

that August,

with the Showbox

billed as a

“warm-up”

for that appearance.

The 1137-capacity

Showbox

sold out immediately

when announced.

For the show,

the band took the moniker,

"NUDEDRAGONS,"

an anagram of

Soundgarden.

Among the capacity crowd
to witness the
live reunion
were a number of other
Seattle music heavyweights,
including
Pearl Jam's
Stone Gossard,
Mudhoney‘s
Mark Arm,

Kurt Bloch,
Mother Love Bone‘s
Bruce Fairweather,
and
