Iron Maiden : Definitive Live Killers (Nakano Sunplaza, Tokyo, Japan 05/24/81 (Evening Show)

I SPEND MY TIME

LOOKING ALL AROUND

FOR A MAN

THAT'S NOWHERE TO BE FOUND

 It's from a

Japanese performance

on FM sound,

so the sound quality

 is excellent.

This is a reissue of the
 FM sound source
"LIVE KILLERS"
on the LANGLEY label.
However,
 this title seems to have
been around for 12 years
 so it's been a while
 since it last appeared.
 There are announcements
 at the beginning and end.
FM at that time. So casual...
Is it because of
 the broadcast time?
It starts with a short introduction,
"FM Live Special, from the UK..."...
and there's a sense of history.
The encore
 "Prowler"
is also added as an
 AUD sound source.
This is also a sound that makes
you feel the era,
but the most exciting part?
 It's amazing how they
 cut it off so cleanly?
 The broadcast is also amazing.
There is tape noise in
 "Wrathchild"
and
 "Iron Maiden",
 but it's not so noticeable
when listening through speakers.
It's a shame that there are no
overseas FM sound sources
 from Maiden's Diano era
 that are as good as
 the official ones!
Is it still a while before
we can start unearthing active bands?
Well, I hope it will happen... but...
is it a tragedy that
 they've only made it
official halfway?
Info also lists
seven songs from
"LIVE AT THE RAINBOW,"
five from the US EP
"MAIDEN JAPAN,"
 and six from the
 1980 Reading Festival on
"BBC ARCHIVES."
In addition,
this is the
best recording source,
with songs that you
can't hear even if you collect
 the B-sides of singles
 and the unreleased
"LIVE! +ONE,"
including
 "Purgatory,"
"Another Life,"
"Genghis Khan,"
 "Twilight Zone,"
"Strange World,"
 and
Murders In The Rue Morgue.

" The frantic guitar on
 "Purgatory"
and
 "Phantom Of The Opera"
 are also worth listening to,
and Harris's sound,
which is different even on
 the live album,
is not heavy!
 It's not a powerful sound,
but a mushy one?
This sound is interesting.
 It's the best sound source
with high sound quality from
 the Paul Di'Anno era
