 known professionally as

Joey Tempest,

 is a Swedish musician 

and the

 lead vocalist

 of the rock band 

Europe. 

He wrote most of the

 band's hit songs,

 including

 "The Final Countdown", 

"Rock the Night", 

"Cherokee", 

"Open Your Heart"

and

 "Carrie".

 through the 2010s.

This sought-after Japanese bootleg CD from Zodiac gathers hard-to-find single mixes, unreleased outtakes, demo recordings, radio edits, live performances, and exclusive versions that have long been favorites among collectors.

Among the biggest attractions are the ultra-rare withdrawn 1983 single version of Lyin’ Eyes with its alternate vocal performance, the original 1984 remix of Open Your Heart, the previously unreleased stereo version of Where Men Won’t Dare from The Final Countdown sessions, and the excellent soundtrack recording Broken Dreams. The compilation also includes Le Baron Boys demos, BBC acoustic performances, later live recordings and The RARE Original Version of The Final Countdown
